Gosh we have some strong women and men among our 26,000 or so Volunteer Bush Fire Service family.
But as many of us have seen while fighting forests in the forest or helping a family out of their storm-damaged homes, even the thickest branches and most solid roofs can break when the circumstances are just right – or wrong as the case may be.
And there is nothing wrong with feeling down. It happens.
Just like bushfires and storms, they come, they go and eventually, we rebuild.
It takes is time. And courage. And a good group of people around you.
Be one of those good people today. Ask a friend RUOK?
Then listen and seek help if you don’t know what to do next.
