The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has published the following product recall based on the risk of an outdoor air conditioner unit failing and catching fire. While we don’t normally share product recalls, given the fact that air conditioners get used mostly when fire ratings are at their highest and the risk is of a fire in the outdoor unit, we thought it important to do so on this occasion.
